Pattie S Walker, a Jehovah's Witness of 65 years passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024. She was born in Brunswick County, VA to Annie Sue and Edward Davis Booth on September 13, 1932.  

She was married to Clifton Walker and gave birth to 4 children, Felicita Duke, Preston R Walker, and twins Lester Clifton and Lawrence Clifton Walker.  Preston Sr and Lester Sr preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Clifton Walker, parents, Annie and Edward Booth; two Brothers, Benjamin and Ralph Steeley; one sister, Gloria White; and son-in-law, James Duke.  

She leaves behind one sister, Cheryl KeywandaBattle; two children, Felicita Duke and Lawrence Walker Sr; four grandsons, Preston Walker Jr (Abbey), Lawrence Walker Jr (Njeri), Lester Walker II and LaShawn Chad Walker (Stephanie); six great-grandchildren; three daughters-in-law, Darlene Walker, Doreen Walker and Elizabeth Walker; one brother-in-law, Milton Battle; three sisters-in-law, Alberta Steeley, Sandra Steeley, and Doris Vaughn; one adopted son, James Harrell; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many beloved friends.

She was a snazzy dresser and everything had to match. Her reputation was built on her expertise in baking her famous yeast rolls, sweet potato pies, and cornbread. Additionally, she had a well-traveled background, exploring different parts of the world. 

She will truly be missed.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Inurnment will follow in the family cemetery. A livestream of the service will be available and condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
