Patty Carter Obituary

Patty graduated from Stadium High School in Tacoma and worked in various factories on the assembly line throughout her life. When she wasn't working, she devoted her time to raising her four children. She enjoyed taking them camping, teaching them how to bake, and hosting family gatherings. Later in life, Patty relocated to Sparta. She cherished spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Left to carry on Patty's legacy are her children: Jody Steele, Jeremy (Elizabeth) Steele, Josh Carter, and Rachel (Matt) Mohn; her grandchildren: Jamie, Brooke, Hannah, Katie, Helena, Amber, Autumn, Kohner, Addy, Kyle, Liam, Twylah, Lincoln, Jackson, and Dagen; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Vicki (Bruce) Dart; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Marie Belair and brother, Richard Hopkins.
Patty never liked being the center of attention. Per her request, no services will be held. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Sparta, WI, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be offered at www.torkelsonfuneralhome.com.
