Patty Julie-Anne DeVries, of Washington Township, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the age of 30.
Patty was raised in Kingwood Township, NJ, and was a graduate of Delaware Valley High School, where she was a proud cheerleader and a dedicated member of the marching band and flag team. She moved to Washington Township five years ago.
Known for her kindness and warm spirit, Patty had a deep love for music and enjoyed singing and watching movies. She found joy in creative hobbies such as crocheting, knitting, and photography. She was a parishioner of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Washington, NJ.
She is lovingly survived by her parents, Thomas and Julie (Carey) DeVries of Kingwood; her sisters, Carey-Anne Hendershot (Brad) of Washington Township, and Brianne and Erin (Julian), both of Clinton; her brother, Eddie DeSapio of Delaware; and her beloved grandmother, Anne (Mesco) Carey of Lopatcong. Patty will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephew, as well as several aunts, uncles, and extended family.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Thomas Joseph Carey; her paternal grandparents, Charles and Ruth DeVries; her uncle, Kenneth DeVries; and her aunt, Maryanne Santoro.
A Memorial Service and Gathering for friends and relatives will be held at a later date in October.
