She was born March 3, 1937 in Vigo to the late Chancey "Buzz" and Myrl Poole Detty. On March 25, 1967 she married Virgil Rinehart who preceded her November 23, 2003.
Surviving are a son, Tony (Lori) Rinehart, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Kohl (Alyssa) Rinehart, of Clinton, TN, Chelsi Wagner, and Casey Hertenstein; great grandchildren, Maliya Wagner and Jaxon Smith, all of Londonderry; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Todd Rinehart and several brothers and sisters.
Patty was member of Vigo Baptist Church and had worked at the former Weinrich Grocery in Vigo. The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to Bob Detty and Darrell Detty for everything they did for Patty.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Chuck Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
