Paul David Anderson, 67, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at his residence.
Paul was born February 18, 1958, in Campbell, Kentucky, to the late Paul J. and Alma (Moore) Anderson. A man of strong character and steady hands, Paul had a lifelong passion for craftsmanship and collecting. He was an avid collector of knives and Zippo lighters, admired fine firearms, and found great satisfaction in woodworking-turning raw materials into pieces of lasting beauty.
Above all, Paul's greatest joy was his family. Nothing meant more to him than spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. His legacy of strength, loyalty, and love will live on in them.
He is survived by his daughters, Paula E. & (Frankie) Todd of Somerset, Penny L. Witt of Science Hill, and Ashley & (Blake) Warren of Eubank; step-sons, James Carter, Jr & (Bonnie) of Somerset and Ronald Carter of Eubank; step-daughter, Christy & (M.E.) West of Louisville; a brother, Gary B. ( Ann Rea) Anderson of Lexington; two sisters, Glenda M. Witt of Stanford and Linda L. Witt of Stanford; grandchildren, Kortney & (Thomas) Jones, Brittany & (Brandi) Corbin, Keshia McKinney & (Chas Duncan), Ashley Todd & (Cody Sutton), Ally Todd, Brayden Warren, Mason Warren, Logan Warren, Tyler West, and CJ West, Samantha (Scotty) Stogsdill, Nathan (Ashtyn) Carter, Jessica (Chris) Hernandez, Samantha (Billy) Stone, Matt (Lucy) Brown, and Ashlee (Justin) Byrd; great-grandchildren, Levi Sullivan, Brantly Sullivan, Laiklyn Jones, Skylar Jones, Blakely Garner, Bristol Jones, Oaklynn Blaha, Jenson Corbin, Francine Dickerson, Kamden Corbin, Kaiden Rodgers, Serenity Rodgers, JayCeon Duncan, Gracie Todd, Wylder Todd, Winston Sutton, Cade Sutton, Pierce Sutton, and Jaxton West; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Dewayne Hodge, Rick Foster, Ben & Natalie William, and Bobby Singleton; and his care provider, Angie King.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his 1st wife, Letha Hodge; his 2nd wife, Cheryl Black; and his half-sister, Joyce A. Combs.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will take place in Singletontown Cemetery.
