Paul Everrett Archer, born on June 4, 1955, in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, at the age of 70. Paul was a dedicated man who worked tirelessly throughout his life, last serving with pride at NAPA Auto Parts until health concerns arose.
Affectionately known as PawPaw, Paul was a quiet but deeply supportive presence in the lives of his family, especially his grandchildren: Austin Archer, Ethan Kelley, and Madison Phipps. He cherished their accomplishments and always cheered them on in every event they participated in, embodying the role of a loving grandfather with great enthusiasm.
Paul's passions extended beyond his family. He was a talented musician who joined the band Cedar Creek in the 1970s. He continued to sing and play the guitar with the band up to recent times with his brother, Kale, and friends. An avid Razorback fan, Paul’s loyalty to his team was unwavering. Known for his sharp mind, he was always willing to lend his expertise, particularly in advising on car repairs—a trait his daughter Jamie especially relied upon.
Paul is survived by his devoted daughter Jamie Alexander and her husband Jonathan; his brother, Carroll "Kale" Archer and wife Laura; his sister, Brenda Bienick and husband Harry; his ex-wife and mother of his daughter, to whom he remained close friends, Linda Archer; and many family members and friends who deeply loved him and will miss him dearly.
He is predeceased by his parents, James Carroll and Irene Tiny (Evans) Archer; his brother, James Darrell Archer; and his sister Linda Baker.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas, located at 322 N. Market Street.
Paul's warm spirit and unwavering support will be forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.
