Mr. Paul Joseph Barros, beloved husband of Patricia Acciola Barros, departed from this life on October 23, 2024. Born in 1941 to the late Walter and Pauline Barros in East Providence, RI, Paul was a member of the United States Army from 1960-1962 and was stationed in Caribou, Maine. After his time in the US Army, Mr. Barros was a faithful employee of Boeing Industries for 25 years.

Paul married his childhood sweetheart, Patricia, in 1964 in Providence, RI.  Some would say they were destined to be together, as they had known each other since early childhood. During his time at Boeing, Paul and Patricia lived in multiple US cities, including Seattle, WA and Providence, RI. They retired to Easley, SC in 2014 and both remained there until his death. Paul enjoyed playing chess, board games and any activities that would challenge the mind.

In addition to his loving wife, he leaves several loved ones to cherish his memories: his sister, Joann (Charles) Sorrento of Randolph, MA; nephew Charlie Sorrento, devoted sister-in-law Barbara Wasserman of Pickens SC, faithful niece Barbara Yergeau of Pickens, niece Linda Pence of Pickens SC and a host of friends & family members.
