Rosa Huff Obituary

Rosa Jones Huff, 93, of Greenville, wife of the late Doug Huff, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. Born in Pickens County to the late T.L. Jones and the late Ethleen Moody Jones, she was of the Baptist faith.

Of Rosa’s many proud accomplishments, perhaps none shone more brightly than her unwavering faith. A faithful follower of Christ throughout her life, she embodied the principles of love, kindness, and grace, guiding her family with wisdom and compassion.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Huff and Ruby Watta, and brother, Alvin Jones.

A remarkable woman, Rosa embodied the essence of a great mother and an excellent grandmother, always remembering every birthday and special occasion, ensuring that her family felt cherished and valued.

Rosa’s passion for life was evident in her numerous interests. She found incredible joy in reading, constantly expanding her world through the pages of countless books. In addition to this, she loved spending quality time with her sisters, creating a bond that was rich with shared memories and laughter. Her ability to keep busy was a testament to her vibrant spirit, as she sought out new challenges and experiences even in her later years.

Rosa is survived by her sons, Rev. Ronald Wilson (Janet) and Michael Wilson; grandchildren, Michele Tyler (Joe), Ashley Riley (Yetu), Grant Wilson, David Wilson, and Kristin Deck (Mark); many great-grandchildren and sisters, Bonnie Keller and Mildred Stillwell.

The family will host friends from 10:00 AM to 10:45 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, with a funeral service to follow in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens in Piedmont, SC.

As we remember Rosa, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with warmth and affection. Her legacy is one of nurturing and support, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of calling her mother, grandmother, sister, or friend. Each memory of her brings a smile, carrying forward the lessons of love she instilled in the hearts of her loved ones.
