With hearts full of sorrow yet grounded in eternal hope, we announce the passing of Paul David Baughman — a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend — who entered into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, June 8th, 2025, following a courageous battle with heart failure. He departed this world peacefully in his sleep, with his loving wife by his side and his younger brother gently praying over him. As his brother’s prayer came to an end, Paul took his final breath — ushered into eternity with grace, surrounded by love, and called home by God. Born on May 24, 1958, Paul lived a life marked by generosity, strength, and a humor that could brighten the darkest room. He was a man of deep conviction and quiet faith — never boastful but always believing in the goodness of God and the power of grace. Even in suffering, Paul remained steady, never losing the spark that made him so uniquely himself. He is survived by his cherished wife, Lennys, and his children: David (wife Jacy), Seth, Matthias, and his stepdaughter Natasha (husband Christopher) — all of whom he loved with steadfast devotion. He leaves behind his adored grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy. Paul is also survived by his beloved brothers Terry (sister-in-law Pamela) and Danny, along with a wide circle of extended family and lifelong friends who were blessed to walk beside him. Professionally, Paul dedicated over four decades to the automotive industry, where he was not only admired for his skill as a salesman but loved for his unmatched charisma and his gift for connection. For Paul, every handshake was an opportunity to make someone smile. Even after retirement, he often joked about going back to work “just for fun” — a testament to the passion he poured into everything he did. But above all, Paul will be remembered for his humor — clever, sharp, sometimes dark, but always uplifting. Laughter was his love language. He had an extraordinary ability to find joy in the ordinary and to share that joy with others. He gave freely, helped quietly, and loved deeply. Paul’s departure leaves a space no one can fill, yet his legacy will echo in the laughter he inspired, the kindness he showed, and the lives he touched. Per his wishes, we will honor his life not with solemn silence, but with stories, laughter, and gratitude for the time we were blessed to share with him. It was Paul’s heartfelt wish to be celebrated with joy and faith, not with sorrow or stillness. His homecoming celebration will be held at Healing Vine Ministries, 1752 Williams St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 4:00PM led by his younger brother, Pastor Terry Baughman. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00-4:00PM at the church. May his soul rest in the eternal peace of Christ, and may we carry forward the light he left behind.
