Paul Beres Obituary

Longtime resident of Kremmling, Colorado Paul "Pete" Beres, 87, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, in Greeley, Colorado.
Born on June 29, 1937, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Pete served his country with dedication in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1954. After his military service, he worked hard for his family retiring from AMAX Henderson Mine/Mill. He built a life filled with simple joys and meaningful connections.
Pete was a quiet and humble man who found happiness in the company of friends and the routines of daily life. He enjoyed fishing, attending senior lunches and bingo games, and making his daily rounds through Kremmling, where he never missed an opportunity to visit with those he knew. His presence in the community was a familiar and welcome one, as he valued the friendships he cultivated over the years.
He is survived by his son Matthew Beres and wife Sandra; daughter Susan Granlund and husband Jeff; and sisters Bernice Hoover, Millie Vaughn, Cathie Sierzega, and Pati Beres and special friends Ilene and Terri Henney. He was preceded in death by his parents Helen and Frank Beres, his beloved wife, Shirley Beres, and sister Delores Sondberg.
Pete's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his legacy of quiet kindness bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
