Diann, Molly, and all Paul David's family, so sorry to hear of Paul David's passing. He was a great part of my early relationships with our Blankenship family as his cousin' my late husband Richard Bullock often brought me to Wayne, W.V. To visit and meet this part of his mom's family. Seeing your family with PD at Steven Bollock's 60th B.Day party in 2010 was such a joy. May God be with you and Rest In Peace Paul David.

I was so sorry to hear about this.....I had heard he had been having some health issues but it's still a shock. Spent a lot of time around P.D. in High School....he was a lot of fun!!! I think he was looking forward to making it to the class reunion this fall...I hate that won't come about now. I know you all will miss him greatly and again, I am so sorry for your family's loss.

When I moved to NC to teach, Mr. Blankenship send me several emails of hope and encouragement.
It was a very difficult time for me and his emails were a bright spot in a dark time.
I've always appreciated that.
He will be missed.
My thoughts are with his family.

Diane,
Since losing my husband I can relate to all who loses their soul mates. Pray for comfort to the family. Sorry I can't be there, I don't drive much anymore.
Every time I talked to P.D. He bragged on your support, I know he said time and time again, how much he loved you. He was one in a million.

Paul's life has had a lasting impact on countless thousands of people. He was both sports fan and coach. He taught lessons from life. He coached with a zeal matched by few and coupled with compassion. His love for family was a shining example for us all. His battle against cancer mirrored his conduct throughout life. He lived his principles. Prayers for healing go to Diane, his children and grandchildren and his large circle of friends.

I will never forget the lecture Paul gave me because I skipped a big track meet to go to a concert; he believed in me more than those closest to me did, and wanted me to succeed in track.
And Paul was one of Greg's closest and best friends. We are both just at a loss. Wishing peace and strength for the family. Paul's sense of humor and great coaching stories will keep us smiling every time we think of him. He was one of a kind. We loved him.
