Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the Celebration of Life for Mr. Paul Allen Brewer, age 57, who passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Jeff Davis Hospital. Mr. Brewer was a native of Telfair County living the past five years in Hazlehurst. He was a carpenter by trade, a member of Lumber City Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of Lumber City Baptist Church. Paul was cherished by his nieces and nephews and in return loved his nieces and nephews unconditionally.

 

Mr. Brewers is preceded in death by his father, Edwin Leroy Brewer; his mother, Gayle Wooten Carver; maternal grandparents, Ed and Lois Wooten and Josephine McBride; paternal grandparents, Leroy and Essie Brewer; a brother, Randolph Brewer; and a nephew, Jason Carter.

 

Surviving are his two sisters, Marie Carter (Phil) and Anita Gruber (Wuan); four aunts, five uncles, eight nieces, 5 nephews, seventeen great nieces, eleven great nephews, and one great great niece; and a very special dog, Lucy.

 

The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. from Lumber City Baptist Church with Reverend Zachary Meeks and Reverend Terry Brown officiating.

 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at Lumber City Baptist Church.

 

Active Pallbearers are Nick Meeks, Brittany Meeks, Shawn Carter, Renee Brewer, Kalijah Hillman, and Kevin McDaniel.

 

Honors will be rendered by the Lumber City Volunteer Fire Department.
