Paul H. Casas Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025. He was sixty-seven years old.
He was born to Paul Robles Casas and Irene Villalba Casas on August 31, 1958 in Fort Stockton, Texas. Paul married Estela Ibarra on June 18, 1983 and resided in Fort Stockton, Texas. Together they raised two wonderful children-Fermin John Paul and Katrina.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul R. Casas, Sr. and brother Armando Casas. He leaves behind his loving wife, Estela Casas and their children: Fermin John Paul Casas, Katrina Casas Gonzalez (Leo) and his great grandchildren- Leon and Leilah Gonzalez, and Rowdy his beloved dog. He is also survived by his mother Irene Villalba Casas, sister Helen Garza (Noe), and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
He graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1977, received an Associate's Degree from Midland College, and continued his education at Sul Ross State University Paul was a member of the Jaycees where he developed leadership skill through service to others. He worked in the water well business and owned Big Bend Water Well Service until he retired.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He loved listening to Tejano, Country & Western and Rock and Roll music especially on Saturday nights while cooking brisket and grilling BBQ chicken for celebratory gatherings. He enjoyed movies such as Star Wars, John Wayne movies, and war movies. He was a dedicated sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Texas Longhorns. He also enjoyed the different genres of auto racing-NASCAR, Formula 1, and drag racing.
Paul's legacy was a strong faith in the Lord, work ethic, sense of humor and optimism. His love, kindness, and generosity touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Visitation-Eternity Funeral Home- Monday, September 22, 2025 from 1:00-5:00 pm
Rosary- St. Agnes Catholic Church-Monday, September 22, 2025at 7:00 pm
Mass-St. Agnes Catholic Church-Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 10: 00 am
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family is asking for donations can be sent to Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Food Bank (403 S. Main Street Fort Stockton, TX 79735) and Lucky Dog
Sanctuary at Tractor Supply Donation Jar (1700 W. Dickinson Blvd Fort Stockton, Tx 79735), American Heart Association (website donation), and American Cancer Society (website donation).
