Paul Clark, 92, of Meriden, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at his home. He was the beloved husband of Myrta Clark for 67 years.

Born in Lewiston, Maine on August 8, 1933, he was the son of the late Luciel and Fred Clark. He had resided in Lewiston, Maine until 1950. Paul graduated from Lewiston High School in 1950 and later graduated from Meriden High School after completing post-graduate classes in drafting.

Paul was employed in the Connecticut defense industry as a draftsman and worked on numerous engineering projects, retiring in the mid-1990s. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War, having served with the United States Navy aboard the destroyer USS Harris.

Paul was a parishioner of St. Rose Church in Meriden. An avid athlete throughout his life, he enjoyed swimming, tennis, golf, softball, basketball, and bodybuilding. He placed First Runner-Up in the Mr. Connecticut Bodybuilding competition. He continued going to the gym and lifting into his late 80s and played golf until his late 80s as well.

Besides his wife, Myrta, he is survived by his daughter, Patricia Clark-Hippolyte of Meriden; his son, Jeff Clark of Meriden; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Craig Clark.

The services are private, as Paul wished. Arrangements are under the direction of the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home.
