Mr. Paul J. Crocco, of Waltham, died Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in West Roxbury following a period of declining health. He was 79.
Paul was born in Boston on November 27, 1945, a son of the late Victor, Sr. and Margaret (Ciccolo) Crocco, and lived in East Cambridge before his family moved to Waltham.

After his discharge he went to work for a time at the Registry of Motor Vehicles in Boston before going to work for former Attorney General Frank Bellotti.
Until his retirement eight years ago, Paul worked for more than twenty years at the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority.
Paul loved cars, boats and his dogs, all of whom he named Skippy. He spent countless hours entertaining family or friends aboard his 35’ Chris Craft, ‘Bevy-Jean” which he kept at Charles River Yacht Club where he was a lifelong member.
He was the brother of the late Victor Crocco, Jr. and Beverly A. Crocco.
Paul leaves his cousins, including Nancy and Joseph Devane of Waltham; his beloved niece, Holly LaFort (Bryan), her brother, Steven Devane (Brenda), nieces Susan Everett (Michael) and Donna Crocco, nephews Vincent and Stephen Crocco; and his dear friends, Milly Citron, Margie Eaton, Lauren Caicedo and Valerie DiGregorio.
