Paul A. Daugherty, a devoted family man, skilled worker, and passionate enthusiast, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri. Born on December 5, 1959, in the same vibrant city, Paul led a life of dedication to his family, community, and profession.

Paul's career began after graduating from Northeast High School in 1978, followed by vocational training in printing. He initially worked for Henry Wurst Printing for 15 years, where he demonstrated his commitment and work ethic before transitioning to General Motors. His impressive 30-year tenure at General Motors was marked by various positions, where he continued to be a diligent and reliable employee, earning the respect of his colleagues.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Paul cherished his role as a family man. He was truly devoted to his wife, Patty, and their children, Kelly and Jakob. Family trips in their RV brought them joy and served as the backdrop for countless treasured memories. Paul’s love for his family was apparent, always ensuring that time spent together was filled with laughter. His generosity and selflessness were deeply felt by those around him, and he had a remarkable ability to bring humor and inventiveness into his interactions.

Paul had a variety of hobbies and interests that reflected his adventurous spirit. He was an avid biker, known for his passion for exploring the open road. An amazing handyman, he tackled projects with enthusiasm and skill. Evenings around the campfire were among his favorite pastimes. His affection for his special cat "Bean" was a testament to his gentle nature. Simple pleasures, like enjoying a good bologna sandwich accompanied by a Dr. Pepper, were a part of his easy-going nature.

Paul was also proud of his involvement in the community as a tenured member of Camp Fire and as a member of the Heart of America Oldsmobile. His contributions to these groups left a lasting impact and showcased his commitment to fostering connections with others who shared his passions.

His legacy is one of generosity and kindness, leaving behind a family that will carry forward his spirit and values.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Evelyn Daugherty; brothers, Gary Peck, and Dean Peck; and Aunt Frances Adkins.
