Paul Edward Duckworth, aged 66, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025. He was born on July 18, 1958, in Manchester, England. His parents, Ernest Duckworth and Ulla Anderson Duckworth preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Lindsey Hughes Duckworth a sister, Leslie Duckworth Moore (Phillip), a sister-in-law, Tracy Surgey, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Paul started his apprenticeship at Padley & Venables in England in 1974. He worked on the shop floor until he moved to the production engineering department in the early 80's. He was offered to move to Brunner & Lay to run the factory in Chicago, he moved to Chicago in 1998. He then transferred to Springdale in 2010.
Paul loved DIY and did lots of work on his homes, the one thing he always built was a bar. He loved entertaining, especially pool parties with volleyball.
He always had a favorite bar The Hare & Hounds and The Crown& Anchor in Chesterfield, TGI Fridays in Chicago and Arts bar in Fayetteville. He still has many friends from them all. During his time in Chicago, he developed a great love for the Chicago Cubs.
Although he did not have children of his own, he loved spending time with his god children, the children of his dear friends Kieron and Tina.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
