The guy who didn't know how to build a towerblind
November 15, 2025
Paul... I'm not gonna lie, when I first moved in next door, my initial impression of you was a grumpy old man that was too darn nosey in everyone's personal business. Turns out, you became one of the best friends and life adversaries I could have ever hoped to acquire. After years of working with you and most of all, learning by you, I grew a love for you that resembles the love a grandson has for his Noble grandfather. You were there for me, guided me, and sat with me through some of the most challenging times of my life. I only wish I could tell you how much I appreciate you, admire you and love you sincerely from the bottom of my heart. I am forever grateful for the time you allowed me to shadow you as your apprentice, teaching me that the right way to do a job... is the only way to do a job. Day after day, you got up, ate breakfast, put on your work shoes, your hat, your gloves, and a scowl that only few knew wasn't a scowl, but the look of a determined man with a plan.... to build.
At the end of every long work day, I said this a thousand times, before we parted ways for the night and I walked home through the thin brush line that separated our yards, standing with you in your driveway having our closing opinions of the day. I'll say it once more "See you in the morning Paul... have a good night"
Goodnight Paul

I have great memories of Paul from working with him at MPS. Paul was always upbeat and had interesting stories. I remember him as a man who was always willing to help others. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Rebecca, I am so sorry to see that Paul has passed. You two shared children, and even though you may have parted, that bond will always remain.

Kagey,
We don't check the Midland obituaries very often, but fate took us there yesterday. We were shocked to notice Pau's passing, and extend our deepest sympathies to you and the family. We will keep you in our prayers moving forward.
