Paul Bruce Finnicum, 82, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 in Hospice Care in Cuyahoga County at Cleveland Clinic after a battle with cancer. Paul was born November 24, 1942 in Monroe Township, Carroll County, Ohio to the late Paul C. Finnicum and Marguerite A. (Mitten) Finnicum. Growing up on a farm he loved riding horses. He graduated in 1960 from Carrollton High School then worked for Reed's Sunoco Station in Minerva and later worked for TRW, and retired after 39 years at PCC Airfoils in Minerva. On September 14, 1963, he married Sara A. (Flinn), who survives, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and spent 62 happy years of marriage together. He and Sara traveled to 48 of our 50 states over the years in their Rv's and spent much time at Amish Country in Holmes County in their later years. Also surviving are a daughter, Becky (Doug) Gorsuch, grandson, Zac (Kayla) Gorsuch of Wichita, Kansas; step-grandson, Tucker Conner; and a great granddaughter, Eliana Gorsuch, sister-in-law, Linda Flinn of Strongsville; plus several cousins. A visitation for Paul will be held Monday, September 22, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. at Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton. A private burial will take place in Leavittsville Cemetery.

I remember him as a kind, funny, and caring human being who meant a lot to our family, particularly my mom (Susan) and dad (Frank) who always enjoyed their time spent with him over the years. Wishing his family all the best during this difficult time.
