Paul was born on July 21, 1940 in Findlay, Ohio to A.W. and Edith (Crosser) Fishbaugh.
Growing up in Mendon, OH, Paul graduated from York High School in 1958. He joined the Navy, where he worked and flew on seaplanes, being stationed primarily in Bermuda.
After the Navy, Paul attended college while working, graduating from Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana. Paul met his wife Donna (Noggle) in 1966 and they married in August of 1968. They soon moved to Clyde, Ohio, where he started Industrial Hanger & Conveyor Co.
Paul was very talented at conceptualizing solutions to equipment and processes. He worked extensively in the porcelain and powder paint markets developing tooling, paint booths and equipment. He also designed and fabricated many material handling solutions.
Paul retired from full time employment in 2019, but his team continues to produce and develop many of the products he worked on for over 50 years.
Away from work, Paul was an avid car fan. From his youth, he enjoyed working on cars, whether swapping out an engine, or racing with friends. He also was an equipment collector and was always working on a piece equipment, tractor or mower.
Paul was proceeded in death by his parents, and sister, Tonia Worthen.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, their son Michael (Kara Smith), a niece Terri (Rob) Jostes and many cousins including Pam Lamont.
