Paul Leo Gayda, 78, of Waynesboro, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at River Edge Nursing and Rehab.
Paul was born in Indiana to Leo Francis Gayda and Mary (Tumo) Gayda on August 11th 1945. Paul was the owner of Tile Visions in Waynesboro from the late 90's until his retirement just a few years ago. He was a veteran of the United States Army, working at the Pentagon in the Military Intelligence Division from 1965 to 1968. Paul will be remembered for deeply loving his family, as well as his pets. He was also a great lover of music and was a talented keyboard player.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Yvonne (Yoakum) Gayda; and a younger brother, Robert "Bobby" Gayda.
Paul is survived by his son Paul Gayda and wife Susan of Springfield; his daughter, Cathy Minton and husband Drew of Waynesboro; a grandson, Jeremy Shifflett of Crimora; a sister, Mary Serletic with husband Jack of Hobart, IN; and two special nieces, Sharon King and Marian Yoakum. In addition, Paul is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends
