Paul Armand Giasson, 73, of Richmond, died January 9th, 2025, in the comfort of his home as he was held in the arms of his loving wife and daughter.
He was born on October 5th, 1951, the son of Armand and Lauretta (Fournier) Giasson, in Lewiston, Maine. He was also raised by his devoted stepfather, Edward 'Andy' Anderson.
He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, and he was an accomplished hunter. He loved going fishing with his brother and nephews. He enjoyed going on long drives on his ATVs and going to the casino every week with his brother. He was known by all for his giving nature, his fierce love, and his kind soul; he will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
He married the love of his life, Betty (Kilcrease) Giasson, on November 11th, 2023, in an intimate ceremony after many happy years together. Paul is survived by his wife, Betty Giasson; his daughter, Mavis Moon and husband, Paul; his brother, Ronald Giasson and wife, Katie; sisters, Jeanne Mongeau and Diane Jackson; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father; his sisters, Elizabeth Bruneau, Carmen Therriault, Cecilia Footman, Sue Gendron, Rita St. Hilaire, Theresa Lemieux, and Geraldine Giasson; his niece, Patsy Smith; and also by his brother-in-law, Lester 'Jack' Jackson.
