Paul Goodrow Obituary
Paul N. Goodrow, born on February 7, 1964, in Willimantic, Connecticut, was a man whose presence brought warmth and kindness to every room. It is with a heavy heart that we announce Paul's passing on November 30, 2023, at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT.
Paul's early life in Willimantic set the stage for a lifetime of cherished moments with those that he loved. He was the beloved son of Albert Goodrow and Dolores LaChappelle, a brother to Ronald and Rose Goodrow, and a cherished member of the Goodrow family.
Throughout his life, Paul's passions were clear for all to see. He had an affinity for vintage cars, often found admiring the craftsmanship at car shows, his eyes lighting up at the sight of a well-maintained classic. His zest for life extended to the simple pleasures, like savoring a meal at his favorite restaurants or enjoying a cup of coffee while donned in his signature leather jacket. These moments, though simple, were a testament to his ability to find joy in the everyday.
To say Paul was kind, generous, and selfless is to capture just a glimpse of the man he was. His generosity knew no bounds, and his selflessness was the hallmark of his character.
As we bid farewell to Paul, we reflect on a life lived with purpose and love. His memory will be a beacon of light for those who were fortunate enough to have known him. Paul N. Goodrow will be profoundly missed, but the legacy of his kind spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his generosity.
We take solace in knowing that Paul's journey was filled with love and laughter, and his impact on the world will be felt for generations to come. As we say goodbye, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man well-loved. Rest in peace, Paul; your memory will forever be treasured.
Family and friends are welcomed to join us at a Graveside Service to be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Cemetery, 134 Club Road, Windham, CT.
