Monique Ann Burpee, 55, of Eastford, CT, passed away peacefully at home on February 6, 2026. Monique was born in Willimantic, CT on September 20, 1970. She worked for the State of Connecticut for 20 years and loved working with the children. She loved kayaking, four wheeling in New Hampshire, and jamming out to 80s music. Monique loved every phase of the moon. She had the heart of a hippie and the spirit of a witch.
Monique leaves behind her mother and father Solange and John Cosgrove, in Connecticut; two daughters, Caitlyn Rodriguez and her husband Nathan Procaccini of Massachusetts, daughter Taina Rodriguez and her boyfriend Dylan Haviland of Connecticut, and bonus daughter Kaisha Rodriguez and her son Chase Miller of Connecticut; sister Corrina Barry and her husband David Barry of Massachusetts, and her brother Larry Burpee in North Carolina; She also leaves behind her special nephew Kyle Burpee and several nieces, nephews, her special soulmate Missy Thulin, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many loving friends.
She is preceded by her older sister Bettyann Hogaboom and her paternal father Stanley Burpee.
Monique will be remembered for her witty sarcasm, kind heart, and beautiful soul. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her girls.
Monique’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 2:00pm to 4:00PM at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic, CT.
