It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul "Scott" Harrison, beloved son, father, and grandfather, who departed this world peacefully on April 24, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on June 21, 1966, in San Antonio, Texas, Scott was a vibrant spirit whose warmth and humor touched the lives of all who knew him.
Scott was not just a devoted family man; he was the heart of his family. Always ready to share a laugh or a good-natured prank, his playful nature brought joy to us all. Scott's professional life as a legal assistant was marked by his unwavering dedication, yet it was his role as a father and grandfather that he cherished most deeply. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, forever encased in the memories he created for his family.
A true animal lover, Scott found joy and companionship in the many pets who shared his life. His loyal dog, Charlie, along with his cats Basha, Roscoe, and Nell, were not just pets; they were family. These four-legged friends brought countless moments of happiness and comfort, reflecting Scott's gentle spirit and kindness.
An aficionado of the 80s music that defined his youth, Scott's eclectic taste resonated with his love for life and its simple pleasures. He found solace in the rhythmic songs of the past, and he delighted in trips to New Orleans and Seattle as often as he could go.
Scott's life was a beautiful blend of love, laughter, and adventure, and his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He is survived by his mother, Jane Harrison, who remains a steadfast beacon of love and strength. He is also survived by his son Andrew Harrison and his wife, Mandana, granddaughter Helena, and numerous cousins and friends. Scott is preceded in death by his father Ronald Temple Harrison, and grandparents Paul Temple Harrison, Georgie Conover Harrison, Willie Marshall Brown, and Lala L. Brown.
Services and ceremonies in celebration of Scott's life will take place on Monday, May 5, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Natalia, 301 Pearson Street, Natalia, Texas 78059 with visitation starting at 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 A.M. interment will follow at Moore Memorial Cemetery. We will come together in love and gratitude, remembering not just the man Scott was, but the joy he spread and the lives he touched.
In these moments of remembrance, may we find peace in our shared love and admiration for Scott, and may his laughter continue to echo in our hearts for years to come. Rest in peace, dear Scott. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
