Paul E. Hastings Jr., age 86, passed away on June 29, 2025. He was born on May 8, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Paul E. Hastings Sr. and Edith (Morrow) Hastings.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, MaryEllen Hastings.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey P. Hastings; daughter, Jill Swimm (Hastings); granddaughters, Lindsey, Abigail, and Emily; great granddaughter, Scottie.
He was owner and President of DesignPro Insurance Group, Inc. A 32 Degree Mason and Scottish Rite and served in the US Army as Military Police. Honorably discharged as Sargent E6.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 12:00pm at the NEWCOMER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43231. Interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Alexandria, Ohio.
