It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Teresa Lin-Mae Taylor, who departed from this life on March 21, 2026. Born in Columbus, OH on January 5, 1968, Teresa was an adventurous soul who spent 58 years enriching the lives of those around her. A woman of ambition, she was always eager to explore the world around her, finding tranquility in the simplicity of nature.

Teresa had an undeniable love for travel across the United States, finding solace in the peaceful solitude of camping. Her thoughtful nature always shone through as she created memories with her family and friends. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She enjoyed her job as a waitress, where she was able to meet and interact with people from all walks of life. She was a free spirit, living life on her terms and always looking for the next adventure.

Teresa, Zanith, and Cocoa all enjoyed their time together as they crossed the United States and back to many times to Count.

She leaves behind her true love Zanith Taylor. She also leaves her beloved mother, Elwanda Barton (Bob). Daughters, Stephanie, Nicole, and Wanda. She was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren who were the apple of her eye. Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Childers. A visitation will be held at the Cook & Son Funeral Home & Crematory, 1631 Parsons Ave, Columbus, Ohio, 43207, on Tuesday, 31 Mar 2026 at 11:00amEDT. The service will follow at the same location at 12:00pmEDT.
