Paul Norbert Henderson, 73, of Austin, died Monday, March 14, 2022 at his home. He was born October 28, 1948 in Piave, Greene County, Mississippi to James Chapman and Ada Walley Henderson. Paul graduated from Sandhill High School and attended Jones County Junior College.
Paul was a native of Greene County Mississippi and resided in Greenville, Mississippi and Stuttgart, Arkansas prior to moving to Austin, Arkansas in 1992. He was a grain inspector for the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and the USDA. Paul retired from the Arkansas State Plant Board – Bureau of Standards, Special Testing of Large Capacity Industry Scales. He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Paul is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Donna Peacock Henderson of Austin; sons, Rod Chapman Henderson (Kim), Heath Ivan Henderson and Cameron Paul Henderson (Carrie); sister, Portia Rochelle (Shelley) Thornton (Ronald); brother, Milton Rayburn Henderson (Faye); sister-in-law, Jane Upton Henderson; grandchildren, Jacob Gage Henderson (Darileide), James Chapman Henderson (Jessica), William Joseph Henderson, Andrew Tyler McConaughy, Alexis Paige McConaughy, Connor Danial Henderson; great-grandchildren, Victoria Gomes Mourao, Sarah Kimberly Henderson and Kyler Chapman Henderson, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with inurnment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. prior to the service. A special thank you to Arkansas Heart Hospital and the Arkansas Hospice staff for the outstanding care they gave Paul. The family suggest donations in memory of Paul Henderson be made to Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Cabot, Arkansas. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
