Paul Louis Heric

PAUL LOUIS HERIC Paul Louis Heric, 67, passed away peacefully with his family by his side in the early morning hours of July 1, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Paul proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving as a gunsmith on the pistol team for the division to which he was assigned. He loved working with his hands and often worked in positions involving skilled trades. He was a member of the 669 Sprinkler Fitters Union, where he retired after many dedicated years of service. Paul loved hunting, fishing, tinkering with projects, and spending time with friends and family. Whether going on walks through the woods or splitting firewood, he always found a reason to be outside. He was always the life of the party, quick with a joke, whistling a tune, or singing some outdated song that only someone from the early 1900s would know, and he did what he could do to bring a smile to your face. Paul will be dearly missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his five children, Louis (Kristina) Heric, David Heric, Paulette (Jake) Roat, Andrew Heric, and Adrienne (Bobbie Broughton) Heric. His two grandchildren, Grace Heric, and Robert Ford Broughton. He will also be remembered by his partner, Kathy Fierens, and his ex-wife, Tammy Heric. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mellie (Jones) Heric, son Paul L. Heric Jr., and nephew, Trevor L. Mitrzyk. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 11:00 am at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Standish Chapel with Deacon David Kubczak presiding with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Friends and family may visit the funeral home on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 2-7:00 pm with a prayer service starting at 7:00 pm. On Tuesday, friends may visit the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service.
