Paul Edward Hunt,85, of Fairmont passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born on August 14, 1939, a son of the late Charles D. and Mary R. Roderick Hunt.
He proudly served in the West Virginia National Guard. He retired as an electrician in the coal mines.
He is survived by his son David Hunt; his daughter Susan DiStasio and her husband, Chris; a brother, Lawrence Hunt and his wife, Phyllis; and a step granddaughter, Andrea Booth.
Friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 06, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Vincent Cemetery at Vinegar Hill.

So sorry to hear of Paul's passing.
To Lawrence and the rest of his family, who I did not know, I offer my conolences for your loss.
He was such a great friend through high school and beyond with times that we worked together as well. I'm most sure he'll be missed by all that knew him.
