EAST GREENBUSH - Paul J. Iula, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Paul was born in Bronx, N.Y., the son of the late Paul and Mary (Cusimano) Iula. A proud New Yorker and a devoted sports fan, Paul cheered passionately for the New York Yankees and the Miami Dolphins.
Paul worked for many years as a graphic artist and prepress supervisor at New Art Printing. He retired after decades of dedicated service.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sue Ellen (Warburton) Iula; two sons, Christopher (Starr) Iula and Mark (Deanna) Tantillo; a daughter, Angela (Jonathan) Sheehan; and daughter-in-law, Christine Iula. He was the beloved "Pa" to Nicholas and Michael Iula, Kara Blakeman, and Gabby and Gianna Sheehan.
He is also survived by Samantha, Sal, Dominick, and Christina; in addition to brothers-in-law, Ned (Kit) Warburton and Robbie (Karen) Warburton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sons, Michael P. Iula and Paul Tantillo, who remained forever in his heart.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, July 15, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpke., Rensselaer.
