Dear Jarvis Family,

I was saddened to learn of the passing of your Dad. I am sorry that I could not be there today to share your grief. I have fond memories of you all and am very grateful for the kindness your Dad showed my father, Chick when he was at Avery. Theirs was a friendship for the books and a fine example for us all.
Peace to you all.

Paul and family,

It is so difficult to loose a parent and my deepest sympathies are with you...unfortunately we are at this time in our lives, where all our childhood friends are experiencing your pain...I remember fondly you and Gig, classes together with Miss May, or just trying to be a part of your social circle (as it was my goal back then....) Nancy will be sadden to hear of your loss...may you find peace in your memories...
