Paul Clifford Jeffrey

Paul Clifford Jeffrey, aged 88, of Houston, passed away on February 17, 2025. He was born on September 29, 1936, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Robert L. Jeffrey and Barbara Willis Jeffrey.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Cari Jeffrey; step-daughters, Denise Arnold and husband Bill, and Dawn DeBolt and husband Shayne; grandchildren, Josh Arnold and wife Lauren, Tim Arnold and wife Audrey, Jessica Graddy and husband Branson, Christina Nelson, Ashley DeBolt, and Chris Fry; and great grandchildren Logan, Travis, Leah, Jackson, Henry, Hank, Wyatt, Brady, and Callan; sisters, Martha Jeffrey Murphy, and Laurie Jeffrey.
Including his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years Dolores Jeffrey, step-daughter, Dana Fry; step-mother, Christine Jeffrey; brothers, David S. Jeffrey, Barton G. Jeffrey and Phillip S. Jeffrey.
Paul was raised in Boston, Massachusetts and Montpelier, Vermont. He attended Montpelier Senior High School in Vermont. Upon graduation he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1954 and was stationed in Washington, DC (HQ-USAF) as well as Osan Air Base in South Korea.
Upon his discharge from the Air Force in 1957 he entered into Logistics Sales. He was with the Railroad for 19 years. Paul was transferred several times (Athens, Georgia, Wilmington, North Carolina, and Columbus, Ohio). He then ended up in Houston where he met Dolores Fiery in 1980. They were married in 1981.
After Dolores passed away his two fur babies, Bree and Ginger, kept Paul company. He was always on the go up until the last month of his life living on his own, fiercely independent and opinionated until the end.
