Paul Gregory Joel, 69, brother of Skinny (Howard Lee Joel Jr.) & Timmy Ray Joel, passed away on 2, February 2026 at his home in Fort Worth, TX. He was born on November 21st, 1956, in Fort Worth, TX to Howard and Betty Pierce Joel.
Paul grew up in Fort Worth, TX. He graduated from O.D. Wyatt High School in 1975. Despite his disability, Paul was full of life and love. In his younger years Paul loved going to concerts, music, amusement parks, where he always got to cut in line, his Hot Wheel Cars & his ’68 Camaro which has now been lovingly restored by his brother Timmy Ray. He loved his family, friends and dogs with a passion. He loved to laugh. He was always smiling, and willing to help anyone who needed it despite his own setbacks. Paul never met a stranger. He was always the life of any gathering; A twinkle in his eye and hugs for everyone.
Paul loved the LORD and is now home in his loving arms. He is at peace.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Betty Pierce Joel, brothers Herbert Wesley Joel, Jerry Don Joel, Billy Joe Joel, Grandparents Herbert and Pauline Belcher, Grandparents Herman and Cubie Pierce.
Paul is survived by brother Timmy Ray & wife Krista Joel of Grandview, TX, brother Howard Lee Jr. (Skinny) & wife Christine Joel of Grandview, TX. An abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
