Lonnie Ralph Franklin, formerly of Anadarko, OK. passed away on November 27, 2025.
Lonnie was born on October 22, 1957 to Joseph Walter Franklin and Willadean Nabors Franklin in Anadarko, OK. He graduated from O.D. Wyatt High School then joined the Army and did his basic training at Fort Dix then served in the National Guard.
Lonnie worked as a long haul 18-wheeler truck driver for Vandervort's Dairy, and an oil field transfer truck driver, and also a diesel mechanic. He loved to fish, ride motorcycles, playing dominos and card games. He also enjoyed spending time with his son and daughter and going to family get togethers. Lonnie was a big kidder that kept you laughing and always made you happy to be around him. Lonnie was a Baptist and member of several churches. He will be greatly missed.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his sisters, Lynda Kay Crites and Kathleen Marie Franklin; brother, William Leon Franklin.
Survivors: Daughter, Jennifer Hobbs and husband Brian; son, Justin Lee Franklin; sister, Cheryl Anderson and husband DeRoyce; brothers, Joe Franklin and wife Belinda, Jerry Franklin and wife Linda, Dail Franklin; grandchildren, Landan, Rylie, Zoey Valencia, and Jaxon; along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of good friends.
