Ellen Mae Franklin, a devoted career homemaker and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, in Roland, Oklahoma, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on August 21, 1949, in Big Spring, Texas, and lived a life dedicated to nurturing her family.

A proud member of the Baptist faith, Ellen was an active participant in the Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Texas, where she found strength in her spiritual community. Her faith guided her throughout her life and was a foundation upon which she built her family's values.

Ellen's greatest pride was her family, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and commitment. She is survived by her son, Kenneth W. Franklin Jr. of Marana, Arizona; her daughter, Natalie Jarrell of Sacramento, California; her mother, Alvine McCasland of Lindale, Texas; her sisters, JoAnn Graham of Muldrow, Oklahoma, and Tena Nelson of Lindale, Texas; and her brothers, AJ Boudreau of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and James Boudreau of Moore, Oklahoma. Ellen also cherished her role as a grandmother, leaving behind five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

Ellen is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Franklin; her father, Doyle Coats; and her brother, Hubert Hodges. Each of these individuals held a special place in her heart, and their memories will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

In remembrance of Ellen Mae Franklin, we celebrate a life rich in love, family, and faith. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
