Paul Jureller Obituary

Jureller, Paul D. III
TROY - Paul Jureller, 60, died from recurrent glioblastoma, January 9, 2026, at his home.
Born in Williamsville, N.Y., Paul lived a life rich in purpose, creativity, and connection. He courageously fought, and succeeded, to live a full, adventurous life post diagnosis, enjoying new experiences and spending time with the people he loved right up until his death.
Paul's legacy lives on through the laughter he shared, the meals (and pizza!) he prepared, the paintings he created, and relationships he nurtured throughout his life. May his memory bring comfort and a smile to all who knew him. And go Bills!
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Leslie Moyer; daughters, Alexandra and Hannah; mother, Rosalind A Jureller; siblings, Anne (Carl) Alexander, Art (Rena), David (Emily), and Rich (Lori); as well as a large extended family and lifelong friends who will miss him beyond measure.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc., 276 Pawling Ave., Troy, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, 4 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations be made to support Roswell Park's SurVaxM clinical trial: mimivax.com or mail to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, Elm and Carlton Streets, Buffalo, N.Y. 14263, or, alternatively, to The Community Hospice, providers from which Paul received tremendous end of life care, www.communityhospice.org or mail to The Community Hospice Foundation Gift Processing, 310 South Manning Blvd., Albany, N.Y. 12208. We recommend using the brycefuneralhome.com website to view the full obituary, share or send condolences, light a candle, view videos or for service directions.

Dear Leslie, Alex, and Hannah,
Abbie and I are heartbroken to hear of Paul's passing. We are sending our deepest condolences. Paul was such a steady, kind presence through the girls' dancing years...so many memories! He was supportive and always smiling! Leslie, you and Paul made those years special. I'm so glad I ran into you guys last year in Troy. Sending so much love and holding you all in prayer. Love, Camie and Abbie

So very sad to hear. Paul was one in a million, just a truly good person. The kids loved hanging out with Paul at the bus stop, cracking each other up with his great sense of humor and talking about music. He was always so interesting, listened when you had a conversation with him and just enjoyable to talk with. He was the cool guy who took Hannah to a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert! Paul treated others with respect and dignity, loved his family and made the world a better place. So very sorry for your loss.
