Paul Edward Kreider, aged 102, of Alamo, Tennessee, passed away on August 24, 2025. Born on October 27, 1922 in Pennsboro Township, PA, Paul was a beacon of loyalty and love in the lives of all who knew him. He dedicated 20 years of his life to serving his country in the United States Navy, a commitment marked by an unwavering devotion that endured even post-retirement. As the saying goes, "Loyalty is what makes us trust, Trust is what makes us stay, Staying is what makes us love, and love is what gives us hope." This quote perfectly encapsulates the essence of Paul's life and the values he held dear.

After his retirement from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer, Paul continued to serve his community as a clerical worker at the Duvall County Courthouse in Jacksonville, Florida. It was only after meeting the love of his life Elaine on a blind date in Tennessee that he considered moving to Alamo, and when she agreed to marry him he did just that. Paul was a longstanding and active member of the Pond Creek Methodist Church, embodying the church's teachings of love and service in every aspect of his life. His love for the church was only surpassed by his love for his family.

Paul is survived by his wife of 38 years Elaine, his son Gary Kreider, step-son David Davis, daughter Debbie Whitehurst; two grandchildren and one step-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Leedy Kreider and Pearl Kaufman Kreider.

The family invites you to join them in a celebration of Paul's life. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Pond Creek Methodist Church, 802 Tennessee 188, Alamo, Tennessee. Following the visitation, a service will be held at 3:00 pm at the same venue.

To honor Paul's memory, we invite you to share your memories and upload photos to his memorial page. In the words of author and minister, A.W. Tozer, "When a man of God dies, nothing of God dies." Thus, Paul's legacy of love, loyalty, and service continues to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
