Marlin B. "Butch" Kreider Jr.

Marlin B. "Butch" Kreider, Jr., 74, of Lebanon passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Wasserman) Kreider to whom he was married 45 years. Born in Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Marlin B., Sr. and Catherine (Sudbury) Kreider. Butch as he was known was a graduate of Northern Lebanon High School and his hobbies included fishing, hunting, playing cards, watching horse races, watching car races and spent many years camping with Nancy in Ontario, Canada. He worked for the postal service as a truck driver and was a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his wife Nancy, he is survived by a nephew Shawn Kreider, a niece Samantha Weigle; sister-in-law Gail Weigle; brother-in-law Steven Wasserman; two Goddaughters Felicia and Brianne Esterly; one Godson Blake Esterly. He was preceded in death by two brothers Melvin and Randy Kreider and one sister Cathy Kreider. Honoring Butch's request there will be no services.
