Paul Lacas Obituary
Paul Lucas, 81 of Ackerman, MS., passed on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at the North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 2 p.m., at Salem Independent Methodist Church, 1649 MS 415/ Ackerman, MS. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service time, at the Church. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements.
Paul was born on Sept. 1, 1943 to Clyde and Irene Lucas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Irene Lucas; grandson, John Tyler Lucas; and nephew, Anthony Lucas.
Paul is survived by his two sons, John Paul (Sherry) of Chunky, MS and Joey of Ackerman, MS; two brothers, Wendell (Brenda) of Ackerman, MS and Ricky (Shelia) of Edinburg, MS; great granddaughter, Lena of Yazoo City; long time companion, Penny Lathan of Ackerman, MS; caregivers, Bobby and Sarah Wells; and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers: Jeff Lucas, Curtis Lucas, David Griggs, Anthony Raybourn, Bill Bishop and Phillip Wells.
