Paul Linebaugh

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend and faithful servant of the Lord, Paul Edward Linebaugh, 97, of Clemson, SC went home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2024. He was born in Chicago, IL to J.F. Linebaugh and Pearl May (Claveau) Linebaugh on May 2, 1927. His family also lived in several cities in Michigan. He was graduated from Ann Arbor High School and attended Moody Bible Institute, Chicago.
At Grace Bible Church, Ann Arbor he met, and later married Nancy Janet Morrison. They were active church members there, and founding members of Huron Hills Baptist Church, Ann Arbor. In retirement, they were members of University Baptist Church, Clemson.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, three siblings, and his wife. Surviving are daughter Norma (Charles) Miller, son James Linebaugh, grandson Jeremy Miller, granddaughter Jessica Miller (Andrew) Karg and great granddaughters Vera and Willa.
Paul's many vocations included cabinet maker, carpenter and school administrator. He was an expert in pupil transportation safety, and was instrumental in creating the national standards for handicapped student school bus transportation.
He also enjoyed playing golf, boating, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday October 20, 2024, 2:00 until 3:15 pm at University Baptist Church, 411 Pendleton Road in Clemson, SC
Funeral service will follow at 3:30 pm.
