Paul Junior Logsdon

Paul Junior Logsdon, 56, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on October 12, 1966, to the late Junior and Phoebe Logsdon in Louisville, Kentucky. Paul enjoyed spending time with his immediate family, and, of course, his Portland family. He had an outgoing personality, and loved telling stories. Paul was an avid UofL Cardinal and Denver Broncos fan, and loved going to Churchill Downs to bet on the horses. In his spare time, he perfected his tree trimming skills, and enjoyed listening to music, throwing darts, playing pool, and throwing a cold one back. Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Junior and Phoebe Logsdon, Paul is preceded in death by his son, Steven Logsdon; and several brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish his memory, Paul leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Gina Logsdon; 2 sons, Glenn "Bear" Logsdon, and Darrell "Baby D" Logsdon; 1 daughter, Janet Logsdon; 6 grandchildren, Kelly Kay (Eli), Carmine (Emily), Khloe, Derrick, Shyann, and Bailey Jo; great granddaughter, Carmella; 3 brothers, Ricky Logsdon (Donna), Garry Bryant (Sandy), and Gerald Parigan; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and close friends.
A funeral service for Mr. Paul Junior Logsdon will be held at 12 PM on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Legacy Funeral Center – Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 8 PM on Thursday, August 31, 2023, and prior to the service from 11 AM to 12 PM, at the funeral home. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery will follow the funeral service.
