Paul Malinski Obituary
Born on July 26, 1941, in Pearl River, NY, Paul grew up in Springfield, VT. He graduated from Keene State College and Hofstra University. Paul led a fulfilling life marked by kindness, good humor and dedication. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, winter sports, woodworking, camping and worldwide travel. He is remembered for his many amusing stories.
After a successful career as a teacher, high school administrator and school superintendent, he retired and devoted time to family and community. Paul was deeply involved with local organizations, including Rotary, ALTC and First Lutheran Church.
He is survived by Diane Malinski, his beloved spouse of 52 years, and Natasha Sun, their cherished daughter. He is also survived by his brother Arthur Malinski and sister Dianne Noren, and many nieces and nephews.
As per Paul's wishes, there will be no funeral or celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FISH Food Bank or Apoyo in Paul's memory. His family would like to thank the caring people at KVH, Virginia Mason and Mountain View Post Acute for their attentive kindness in his final days.

Paul was my HS wrestling coach, Sociology teacher, and mentor in Connecticut in the early 1970's. Except for my Dad I never held any man in higher regard. I am so sad to learn he has passed and extend my deepest sympathies to Diane and all his family.

I knew Paul through his many years of dedicated advocacy as a volunteer member of the Advisory Council of ALTC (SE WA Aging & Long Term Care). Paul was such a kind and compassionate human. His tireless advocacy and voice representing the aging population was inspiring.
I have always cherished the times I spent driving Paul and other advisory council members on countless road trips to meetings in the Tri Cities, conferences around the state, and visiting lawmakers in Olympia.
My sincerest condolences to his family.
