Paul R. McBrien, Sr., born on August 13, 1971, in Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. At the age of 53.
Paul was a husband to Tomaria Peterson, whom he married on November 10, 2012, in Sacramento, California. He was also a beloved father to his son, Paul Jr., who was undoubtedly the light of his life. Paul Sr. cherished every moment with his son, sharing countless adventures and experiences that will forever be etched in their memories. Additionally, he embraced his roles as a bonus father to Winston and Lynae (Latrell), nurturing their growth and supporting them with unwavering dedication.
Professionally, Paul dedicated himself to being a Commercial Maintenance Tech, applying his technical skills and diligent work ethic to ensure the comfort and safety of others. He relished playing poker with friends, took pleasure in golfing and hiking, and reveled in the beauty of the great outdoors. Music filled his heart with joy, and his passion for sports showcased his competitive spirit. However, nothing brought him greater happiness than the time he spent with his son, Paul Jr., engaging in various activities that solidified their father-son bond. He spent the final couple of years of his life in Utah to be closer to his dad.
Paul created lasting memories during his time living in various places, including California, Germany, and Utah. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will always remember his vibrant spirit, marked by his infectious laughter and genuine warmth.
