To the Family,
It was a time of great sorrow and sadness when I got the news of Rev. paul's demise, We had been friends for a life time,(elementary thru high school) separated over the years but reunited in 2007, both preaching and teaching the word of God.Paul had a definite love for the works of God and willingly shared it with all. He was filled with love and ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed, he was always searching for a way to spread the Gospel..He was not afriad of death and would tell me quite often that he was not worried about anything because he was in the hands of God and to be absent from the body was to be present with the Lord.I truly miss him and our weekly prayers and phone conversations.
I Pray that the Lord will continue to bless each of you and give you strenght to cope with your loss.God bless you all.

To the McClinton's Family

My husband and and was very sadden to hear of the loss of our friend and your your family member Paul McClinton.

Paul was my classmate from Jr. High to high school in Greenville, N. C.

Some years ago I ran into Paul and we struck up a conversation and I invited him and his family
over for dinner. Rachel, Joanna and Paul Jr. Little Joanna was a toddler and Paul Jr. was a preteen living in Phila. They all were such a delightful family.

Over the years we lost contact but, I met Paul again at our C. M. Eppes High School class reunion in 2007. Paul would laugh and joke and talk about God and his goodness all at the same time while displaying that great big grin of his that was his trademark.

To the family, words can't express the sympathy that we share with you all at this most difficult time.
As you know, God doesn't make a mistake but be bless and keep him always in your memories and he'll be forever in your heart.

Sorrowfully yours,

Brewington Rosa

The McClinton Family, I had the pleasure of knowing Paul both as a friend, a motivator and a classmate. Paul spoke of nothing but the goodness of Jesus whenever I was graced with his presence and he never complained. He just loved the Lord and he will truly be missed. Plese accept my condolences. God Bless and keep you.

If you are reading this, then you are probably one of the many individuals blessed to have had the privilege of knowing Paul McClinton, Sr. For almost 30 years, he has been our very dear friend. Paul touched the lives of many and never missed an opportunity to share the love of Christ with anyone he met. We will miss his robust laugh, his tight hugs and his warm spirit. We thank God for the times we shared.

The McClinton Family,
What a pleasure to have known Paul over 50 years. I will miss my high school classmate of C.M. Eppes High, Greenville, North Carolina.
May God's peace and love comfort you and give you the understanding that "all things work together for the good of those who love The Lord."

Hello Onlookers,

My name is Joanna McClinton and I am the proud daughter of Rev. Paul L. McClinton Sr. I certainly thank God for my dad and certainly if he could preach one last message, I'm certain he'd share the words of Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”

Thank you for your condolensces!

Joanna

Bro Paul, what a soldier for the Lord..
You will truly be missed, but our comfort is in the Lord and knowing that we will spend all eternity together. May the Lord comfort and strengthen the family during this time.

Dear McClinton Family,
We have never met but I wanted to say as the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Last month our parents, Shirley and Jack Paul McClinton, Sr. passed, so we realize your lost. Is it a coincidence that our fathers share part of the same name?
