Paul Lee Nations, 91, beloved husband of the late Cheralee Nations, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
Born in Sylva, NC, he was a son of the late Charlie and Mae Dills Nations.
Mr. Nations was a retired employee of Vulcan Materials Co. Not only was he a committed employee, but he was also a proud U.S. Army Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. Paul was a man of faith and a member of Laurens Road Church of God, where he found solace and community throughout the years. He cherished his time spent with his loved ones and leaves behind a legacy of hard work, service, and love.
He is survived by son, Curley Nations; grandchildren, Adam Phillips, and David Manning; great-grandchildren, Christopher Manning, and Kirkland Manning; great great-grandson, Cooper Manning; sisters, Patsy Hanes, Peggy Gibson, Margaret Nations, Eula Mae Denny, and Becky Nations; and brothers, Edward Nations, Johnny Nations, and Roger Nations.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, June Phillips.
The funeral service will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
