Paul Owens Jr., was born to the late Paul Owens Sr. and Dorothy Mae (MCafee) Owens on June 25, 1943, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Paul began his early education in Muskogee, before he was drafted into the United States Army in 1962. He received several commendations such as Marksman of the M-14 Rifle. He excelled to the rank of E-3, before he was honorably discharged on March 17, 1969.

After serving his country, Paul was employed at several businesses locally in Muskogee, such as Brockway Glass and Granger Funeral Home.

Paul gave his life to Christ at a young age, and was affiliated with the Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Muskogee for over 45 years, under the current leadership of Pastor Rooshawn Pratt.

Paul was a very loving man who enjoyed his family, and would care for them anytime he was called upon. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time.

Mr. Paul Owens, Jr., after 82 years, received his rest on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Those who preceded him in death are: his parents, Paul and Dorothy Owens Sr.; his aunt and uncle, Amelia and Willie Billings; his brother, Quinton Clarke; his sister, Zelma Clarke; his brother, Robert Clarke; his brother, Antonio Dossett and his cousins, Willie Lee Billings and Ronald Billings.

Those who remain to cherish his memory: his sisters, Rose Johnson and Renee Hill; his niece, Leela Hill; his great-nephew, Canaan; his nephew, Glenn Jones; his nieces, Glennetta (Darwin) Lemmon, Cherrika (Hosea) Miller; his special cousins, Billings Family; his special friend, Mary Kirksey; along with a host of friends.

The Final Salute for Paul will commence on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 12:30PM in the most holy sanctuary of Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where Pastor Rooshawn Pratt will preside.

You may visit Paul, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at The People's Chapel of the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors Inc., of Muskogee on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, between the hours of 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
