White-Luttrell Funeral Homes, Ltd. - Ridley ParkPaul Papapetridis, 73, of Eddystone, PA fell asleep in the Lord surrounded by his loving family on March 27, 2026. Born February 10, 1953, in Anagennisi Serres, Greece, to the late George and Bessy (nee Mousidou) Papapetridis.
Paul immigrated to America in 1973, where he married his loving wife of over 50 years, Altani (nee Hartas) Papapetridis. They eventually settled down in Marple Township, PA, where they raised their family and continued to build their life. He was the devoted father of George Papapetridis, of Marple Township, PA, and Spiro Papapetridis, of Eddystone, PA, and loving Pappou to his grandchildren, truly the pride and joy of his life.
Paul was a successful business owner in produce distribution, earning the respect of many colleagues and friends. He worked hard every day to live the American dream and provide for his beautiful family.
During his lifetime, Paul faced many medical challenges, testing his strength and faith. But he never gave up. He persevered, remained steadfast in his faith, and overcame these difficulties because his family was the center of his life and the force of his strength. In return, he always provided them with his unconditional love, guidance and support.
One of Paul’s greatest joys in life was the sport of soccer. A loyal and lifelong supporter of PAOK FC, he followed every match with passion and intensity. His devotion to PAOK FC was more than fandom — it was a connection to his homeland and to a community he cherished. He loved visiting Greece and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his siblings and friends. One of his favorite pastimes, while in Greece, was his love of dancing Pontiaka.
Paul’s memory will live on through the stories he told, the traditions he passed down, and the love he gave so freely. He will forever be remembered with a smile on his face, and for his kindness, generosity, strength, and sense of humor. Though he will be profoundly missed, his spirit remains in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. May his memory be eternal.
He is predeceased by his beloved parents, his brother Athanasios Papapetridis, and his sister Marika Hatzopoulou.
He is survived by his wife, Altani, his children George (Soula) and Spiros (Anna), his grandchildren Austin, Altani (Shawn), Elina, Ana and Paul, his great grandchildren Oliver, Aria and Grayson, his brother Kosmas Papapetridis, his sisters Lola Doumbas and Effie Papapetridis. and many loving relatives, both here and in Greece.
