Paul-Vincent Pittinaro, 68, of Greece, New York, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, 9:35am at Rochester General Hospital.
Paul-Vincent Pittinaro was born on Born March 9, 1957 Nuremberg, Germany lived a life marked by deep love for his family, quiet strength, and a generous spirit. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Denise, and a beloved brother to Dave.
Paul was an avid Yankees fan, proud father to his two sons Ryan Pittinaro and Daniel (Jessie) Pittinaro. He was also dearly loved by his two stepsons Michael (Terese) and Justin Dettore. Each will carry forward his values of kindness, resilience, and loyalty. He was a cherished grandfather to his five grandchildren; Madison, Graycie, Hadley, Zachary, and Trevor, whose lives were enriched by his presence, humor, and warmth.
Paul’s loyal Shizu puppy, Bailey Rose, was always by his side, a constant companion who brought him deep love, joy and comfort. He had never owned a dog before and he loved Bailey Rose more than anyone can ever imagine.
He loved his work as a teacher assistant at the Rochester City School Districts (School of the Arts) and took great pride in each students care, learning, and personal growth. Paul cherished his coaching years as he helped the students grow in their athletic abilities while they also grew in their maturity and in their scholastics. Overall, Paul took great pride in each student’s overall personal, professional, athletic growth. Mostly, he gave his heart in everything he taught and everything he gave to the students. He was the heart the students needed to succeed.
Paul will be remembered for the love he gave so freely, the steady support he offered his family, and the quiet wisdom he shared with those who knew him best. His presence will be deeply missed but his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.
Calling hours will be held 4PM - 6 PM Wednesday, August 6 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services concluding with a service at 6PM.
