Paul Eugene “Gene” Ramey, age, 67, of Kings Mountain, beloved husband of Tammy Ramey passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023. He was born October 19, 1956, in Cleveland County to the late Noah Cecil Ramey and Ann Bostic Whitesides.
In addition to his parents, Gene is preceded in death by his brother, Marion Ramey.
Gene loved riding his trike Harley. He was an avid New York Yankees fan. He also loved to travel out west with his wife, Tammy. Gene and Tammy were happily married for 47 wonderful years, creating a lifetime of cherished memories together.
Left to cherish his memories are wife of 47 years, Tammy Williams Ramey; daughter, Paula Wilkes; fur babies, Monkey Jack Ramey; Raylan Givens Ramey; brothers, Norman Ramey (Chae), Tim Ramey, Buddy Ramey, Ben Bostic; sister, Joann Perry (Burgess); grandchildren, Austin Wilkes, Jonah Wilkes; 10 nieces and nephews; 9 great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service Celebration Gene's life will be held at his home on Thursday Nov. 9, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and remember this remarkable man.
